About SomaPsyche

At its heart, this work is about coming home to yourself.

Our Story

SomaPsyche comes from the integration of soma (body) and psyche (mind/spirit). It reflects a core belief that there is no true separation between body and mind — a concept articulated by disability studies scholar Margaret Price through the framework of the bodymind, which recognizes thinking, feeling, sensation, and physiology as inseparable expressions of one living system.

SomaPsyche supports adults who desire to reclaim their vitality, explore the fullness of their identities, and deepen their relationships with themselves and others. This work honors the bodymind as a dynamic, living system shaped by relationships, lived experience, identity, and the political and cultural contexts that influence how we survive, connect, and belong, integrating somatic and relational therapy to foster embodiment, integrity, and aliveness.

Greetings!

I came to this work through my own unraveling, and my own healing. Eleven-plus years into my own sobriety, I've learned that healing isn't linear, and it's definitely not one-size-fits-all. I've moved through breathwork, group work, spiritual practice, psychedelic medicine, and my own somatic therapy healing, and every path taught me something the others couldn't. That's shaped how I practice. I believe deeply in a decolonized approach to healing, one that trusts there are many valid ways home to yourself, not just the ones that get taught in grad school.

I'm playful, direct, somatic, and relational. I think the relationship between therapist and client is its own kind of alchemy, and I show up fully in that space, not as a blank slate, but as a real person with a no-nonsence leaning.

My therapy approach utilizes Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, attachment theory, parts work, CBT, and ACT, but honestly, the blend of them is where the magic is. I also draw on Irish-Celtic mysticism and ancestral lineage work, when it's part of their path.

I care deeply about supporting people build ethical relationships and create a life beyond the scripts they were handed. That includes folks who are monogamous(ish), non-monogamous or polyamorous. I work with adults who are ready to metabolize trauma, build aligned unique relationships and move through life transitions with more steadiness (plus a lot of other stuff!)

On my off time I’m active in my communities, being creative, moving my body or learning something new!

“Good therapy should f*** you up - not ruin your life, but rearrange the walls you’ve built so transformation can escape. It should pull you from careful distance into fault-line contact, from talking about yourself to confrontation with the self.”
