Bodymind
Psychotherapy
A collaborative space to slow down, turn inward, and make sense of what has shaped you, woven together with the intelligence of the bodymind.
Approach to Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process — a dedicated space where you can slow down, turn inward, and begin to make sense of the experiences and patterns that have shaped you. Through conversation, reflection, and a trusted therapeutic relationship, therapy helps you understand yourself more deeply and move toward the life and connections you want.
Bodymind Psychotherapy goes a step further, weaving together the insight of traditional talk and somatic therapy. Rather than working from the mind down, we work with the whole of you — noticing what lives in your nervous system, your breath, your posture, your felt sense, your thoughts, your beliefs — alongside the stories and meanings you carry.
This integration is at the heart of the work. What you notice in your body can illuminate what words haven't captured yet. What you name in conversation can help your nervous system settle into something new.

What to expect in a session with Abí
Collaborative, direct, and playful.
I don't believe I have the answers to your life, and I don’t tell you what to do. My role is to be a mirror — reflecting patterns, questions, and possibilities that may be hard to see when you're in them.
I'm an active participant in the process.
I will be curious, honest, and occasionally challenging. If I see something important, I'll mention it. I believe growth needs honesty, reflection, and self-compassion with courage.
Sessions with me hold the human range - depth and lightness.
We may cry and laugh together as we sit with difficult emotions, explore patterns in your relationships, or unpack the ways your life has shaped you.
Therapy isn't a magic solution.
An hour a week won't solve everything, but for the time we share, we will work together to explore what's shifting in your life and support the version of yourself emerging.
